Whoops!

I forgot to mention The Day The Music Died, which is back on Radio 2 this very Saturday at 1pm. It's our sixth series, although, sadly, the first without Robin Ince, with whom we have split due to comedic differences. But we are still friends. (Also, he didn't look sweaty enough in the publicity photos, and there's a very strict shine level we expect.) So it's just Jon Holmes and me, fighting for airtime with our loud, ironic voices, and some other people, including Mister Phil Cornwell! (The reason I forgot to mention the programme coming back this weekend is that I thought it was coming back next weekend, but our "people" got the air-dates slightly mixed up. Better bloody go and record the first show then.) Read some funny things about it, and get all the links herein.

Goody! I love that Radio 2 - better comedy than Radio 4, I think.
You on the radio at the weekend, it's almost like old times... :-)
Does it still feature the voice of Mr Mark Goodier?
I'm not sure if Mark's voicing the trails, Rich. I'll find out tomorrow, which is my first recording day. I can confirm that we will be running a text vote in the show, even though it's pre-recorded, and a small child will pick the winner.
This is exciting - I 'discovered' Jon Holmes when he filled in for your show, and have tried to never miss his show since then. This is almost akin to the Libertines performing together again at Glastonbury.
Hurrah, an end to Collins-free radio, Gawd bless the BBC.
I'm really looking forward to the return the show. Sorry that Mr Ince has departed, but I'm sure you and the Holmes will carry on manfully. Assuming it's on tape though, as Mr H is on 6Music at the same time, or will you be live, like Steve Wright is every afternoon?
I always thought Radio 2 was playing old Steve Wright Radio 1 shows from the early 90s, but edited in up to date(ish) music and the news.
Excellent news Andrew. I'm looking forward to it.
hello Andrew. Any reason why this isn't available on Listen Again?
Hello again. As you were – it's there now.
I laughed out load a lot. Especially the Albert Steptoe sketch. Welcome back, boys...
Can I second everything said by Clair. Nice to have you back. And Jon Holmes, no, not that one.
Really enjoyed it; and it's nicely complemented by Does The Team Think, too.
I'm so pleased TDTMD is back on the airwaves - something that actually takes me beyond smilig to actually laughing out loud!
The explantion of emo had me crying with laughter.
