What's with the single exposed knee? Did the other one get horribly mangled in the moshpit of a Wonder Stuff gig?
From now on, the show is to be known as Not Poking Out

Loved the first series and now looking forward to this one. Isn't Kate gonna be in the new series?
No, Megan Dodds isn't in the new series, so rather than re-cast Kate, we sent her back to America and introduced a new female lead. All details in the rest of the press release.
Wasn't Miranda Hart the acupuncturist in season 1? Wasn't Sally Bretton also in Absolute Power? (good actress, but I preferred Zoe Telford). Is Megan Dodds out of the new series because of scheduling conflicts, or has she just moved on?

Sorry to her that Megan Dodds isn't in the new series. I will be looking forward to it nonetheless.
Yes, Miranda Hart stormed it as the acupuncturist in the first series, which is why we were so keen to work her into the second. So we made her the cleaner, Barbara, who's in every episode.
Megan has moved on. I loved her performance as Kate in series one - and we made her an American after Megan got the part. It was an interesting problem to have to fill the female lead part, and I think by making her Tim's younger sister we have kept up the "awkward" three-way dynamic (ie. there's no way Tim would want Lee going out with his younger sister!) - we'll see. The read-throughs with the full cast in front of a small audience were very good, so let's hope it all comes together on the night.
I love Miranda Hart. She was great in Lead Balloon too, as the woman who ran the kids' clothes shop.
By the way, thks 4 the add!!!!!, as they say on Myspace.
I like the picture of you two. You look like a particularly louche pair of Scout leaders.
I also meant to wish you best of luck with the new series, Andrew.I shall blow the dust from my on-button on Friday night, and tune in.
Also, to use the modern phrase, "thanks for the add".
And if someone could post it illegally on the internet somewhere so I can watch in Canada, that would be grand...
Clair, we're just happy to have finished writing the fucking thing in the photo!
