Depends what you're looking to compare. The fella at MoneySavingExpert.com seems to know his stuff, and will let you know the pros and cons to each of the sites.
A site to consider once you've decided what to buy and where from is www.quidco.com
It's a cashback cooperative. If you follow their link to a site and buy something the commission that any other site would get actually comes back to you. In return you pay £5 per year, but only once you've made at least £5 through them.
So for example I need to renew my car insurance next month. www.confused.com told me Esure was cheapest. Now, if I use the link from confused to buy that insurance they will get £45. But, if I go to Esure through quidco then I will get that £45. Sometimes takes a couple of months to track and come through though. Also, make sure you clear your cookies before doing it, as that's how they track which site you came from.
Take a look at the quidco site to see the kind of cashback you can get.

Like the elusive Mr. Anonymous said, it depends what you're looking for. There's also Google Products, 123 Price Check, and the site which has saved me literally hundreds of pounds over the past few years, Find DVD.

This reminds me of the time when someone I knew said they might start reviewing reviews on a blog. Strange person.
More importantly, How good is the second disc of In Rainbows? (foams at mouth) Three classic Radiohead songs on it (Down Is The New Up, Last Flowers and 4 Minute Warning) the rest is none-to-shabby either.
There is no Monopolies Commission. There used to be the Monopolies and Mergers Commission, but that became the Competition Commission in 1999.
