Not really. I'm off to bed. But I did just see
Kate Thornton doing the red carpet coverage for Sky One and she was forced to chat to Seal and his wife Heidi Klum before the famous people got there, and she actually said, "Heidi! Hi!" (If only Seal had had chipped in, "Ho-de-ho!") Go, girl.

It really annoys me that it was on Sky - I used to enjoy sitting up all night for the oscars!

too much coverage of something i am not interested in - even less reason to watch telly
If it was on at a normal time I'd watch it. There's no point taping it and watching it the next day, as you can't avoid the coverage.
I think the winners were all well-deserved.
Isn't Tilda Swinton funny-looking?
Watched it now, without knowing who won, and without watching a) the ads, and b) the bloody songs. It's easy to do this if you don't go to work. I appreciate it's a bit trickier if you do.
Boy, I'm useless at predicting the winners. What a pity I am called upon to do so in a national magazine every year!
But are you happy with the winners Andrew?!
I think that this must be the first time in a while that I've actually liked the Best Winner picture.
I am very happy with the winners. And I prefer it when there are some surprises, which there were, not least Marion Cotillard and Tilda Swinton. At least Atonement went home with best score, so all was not lost. And outside of the Big Two, it wasn't a vintage night for the Americans (French best actress, English best actor, Spanish best supporting actor, Scottish best supporting actress, even best song was Irish).
And Bourne ended up with three oscars!!! Blimey.

It was an unusual thing Tilda Swinton kind of wore, but a good colour and I'm really glad she won.
