We are real

Wow. The Collings & Herrin Podcast is available on iTunes. Perhaps it has been for ages - I haven't checked for ages. But I checked today, idly, and there are our handsome faces, quite near to Russell Brand's handsome face and Chris Moyles's face. (We submitted the podcast on the day of our first recording, but I'd certainly sort of assumed it wasn't good enough to be on there, or it was too rude.) We are not in the podcast charts. Maybe this will change. That's up to you. Our next podcast is recorded this Friday and should be up and available on Friday evening. Check the link around the end of the afternoon.

i actaully came across it [should that be 'whispered across it...']by accident as it's easier that down loading it from the original site, and it goes directly into my iPod podcast section. Also i wouldn't worry about the 'rude' content, cf with Kevin Smith's Smodcast, in fact that should be a benchmark in my estimation.
Backtoblake.
I downloaded the first from some link from some Sitcom website and the second from iTunes. It's a very enjoyable listen - kind of like the paper review on the 6 Music show without the occasional Goth based record to interrupt it.
I miss the goth based records that used to interrupt it! Really glad you're on iTunes, makes life easy for me and my iBook and great to hear you together again.
Now, I'm not usually one for complaining, or indeed advocating censorship, however, please, next time you post a photograph of Moylsie, at least give some warning.
The push for Number One in the podcast charts begins here.
It's been on Itunes for nearly a week, I think. Just after episode two came out.
It's a bit of a faff managing multiple podcasts, so having it avilable with my other Itunes podcasts makes life very easy.
Okay, so I'm lazy!
Actually if you clicked the RSS feed on the British Sitcom Guide iTunes automatically added it and updated it regularly. So in effect, it's always been on my iTunes.
Technosmug. hehe.

I've listened to the first two and I've liked them. In an old stylee kind of way, as is my wont, I have downloaded them and then burned (burnt?) them to CD so I can listen to them on the journey to work.
For the full audio experience I'd have preferred to have transferred them to reel-to-reel of course, but the Ferrograph's too large to fit in the car.
I might yet find a way to have it whirring away in the boot though.
Unlike what I expected from his diary, Herrin sounds quite quiet & respectable compared to your flights of depravity AC!
Anyway, very good, chaps - looking forward to the next one. I hope you mention Osama Bin London, crazee name-crazee guy!
Just had an earth tremor here in North Northants (just before 1am). Feeling "shaky" now!
That's that last Osama Bin London joke I make, promise.
I said that if you did a podcast, then I would listen to it, and now I have made good that promise. I think I have subscribed to it in fact. I liked them a lot, both of them. Keep it up.
Hi Andrew
I'm loving the podcasts and hoping they become regular. You left a big hole in 6Music and it's great to hear you again. Intelligent, funny and almost good lokking.
I enjoy it in the car. I've got 1 podcast per journey. The Word and yours takes care of 1 day a week.
Tom Robinson's Introducing (from 6music) along with the Adam & Joe Show podcast takes care of another day.
Radio4 comedy gives me another 2 journeys.
So that's another 4 podcasts I need.
I can't really listen properly to music in the car. It's a 'good' car with a 'good' stereo but most sound below a certain frequency cannot be heard.
The Times and the Q Magazine podcasts are a bit too hit and miss.
Suggestions anyone ?
(or perhaps Richard and Andrew could drop everything and do 10 podcasts a week ? that would be nice)
As anyone who was at last night's Banter recording or Richard's gig the night before will know, he's a bit poorly at the moment. (Touring stress-related.) So there's a chance he won't feel like podcasting on Friday. I'll keep you posted. (If not we'll do it next week as soon as he's well.)
to peter in dublin
have you tried Kevin Smith's Smodcasts, admittadly helps if you like his films. There about 44 of them, all about 50 mins +, some longer.
also the watching the directors podcast is OK, some of the early ones are a little over ambitous in scale, but worth a listern.
ot japanese 101, and learn as you drive.
all on iTunes.
hope that helps

Here's hoping Richard's still up for a bit of stand-up. I've got tickets to see him tomorrow night.
