Actually, that's just a
headline to draw you in. It
might, and it might
not go weekly, but without warning I put it to Richard while we were recording today's fortnightly one, and he was forced to agree to it in principle. Anyway don't rush to the
British Sitcom Guide just yet, as our friend Mark won't be putting up
Collings & Herrin Podcast 4 until midnight tonight (Friday). Best have a look after that. Hope you enjoy it - and in the process send it flying past the
Nuts Podcast on the iTunes chart, which is now our stated aim. As I write, it is at 29 and we are at 48 - although it is not in the comedy charts and we are at 19 in that, ahead of Chris Evans and Flight Of The Conchords. (In the picture above you will see one of today's headlines and Richard holding out some of the money he has raised for Scope. He keeps a big pile of it on the table we record our podcast at. It's not 25 million pounds.)

AC, this makes me very happy! I started listening to the first podcast while on a bus traveling through Chile and had to stop and listen later -- I couldn't stop laughing and gasping for air. Far more hilarious than I expected, and I had high expectations. Keep it up! Can't wait for more.
Weekly, *please*. Put Herring's feet to the fire on this one.
In simpler times, there was just a voucher in the Beano for you to fill in and give to the newsagent. Now we have iTunes. Which is actually slightly simpler. It's quite confusing.
I want it once a week.
iTunes podcast chart, Sunday 13.20: Collings & Herrin no. 35; Nuts Podcast no. 43.
We may rest easy for now.
The Nuts Podcast, is that not just snippets of the George Sham show?
Who is George Sham?
I suspect Leif was referring to George Lamb...
Love the podcast - weekly would indeed be nice!
I did a quick bit of Google work and 1p on a pint for a lottery would be a £108,444,200 pot. Not bad.
I've been listening to these despite not commenting and they're definitely improving as they go along... not a criticism of the first one, just that you're clearly getting into your groove(s)!
Halfway through number four now and laughed out loud on the bus at a couple of points... which is rare in the atmosphere of public transport and makes people think you're an idiot.
Two things...
Please keep it free.
Please cover Heather Mills' settlement in the next one.

Bloody well make Herring do it weekly!
Going slightly off-topic…having not really listened to 6 for a while now I'm only vaguely aware of the George Lamb debate. I just listened for a while just now.
Jesus H Christ. It’s like some kind of sub-radio1 zoo-radio. What the hell were the numpties in charge thinking? It’s called 6*MUSIC*… the clues in the name. No wonder it’s going down the toilet.
Enjoying the podcasts very much, but I want more discussion about wheat, there is much to say on the subject. If you go weekly will each one be shorter?
Saint Nick, I have to agree on George Lamb. Nothing against the guy but it's not the kind of show that should be on 6Music in my opinion. He appears not to know that much about the type of music he plays (listen to THAT SFA interview for proof) and seems like he is only there to be groomed onto another station when Moyles or someone hangs up the mike. That wasn't what 6Music was about before Lesley Douglas took over and it shouldn't be now.
It's also shameful that any points raised about John Noel Talent Agency on the 6music boards get nixed too.
I've just found you via the comedy website - love it!
I agree with Swineshead - I'd love to hear you talk more about (aka lay into) Heather Mills this Friday!
Andrew -- when you and RH take the piccie for the next podcast, can you get RH to be miserable again? I'm afraid the happy smiley face is just TOO darned attractive and makes me swoon over my computer. (Yeah I know I'm sad, but it takes all sorts, doesn't it?) Tell him I don't fancy him in the miserable, sad face photos so as long as he continues to be a sad grumpy git that will help kill my crush no end. THANKS! :-)
