Blog etc.

I have a new blog about portrayals of "the Troubles" on TV on the Guardian website today (ha ha, they won't let me write for the newspaper, but there I am at the tradesmen's entrance, sniffing the rarefied air inside), and I'm on Richard Bacon's Five Live show between 11pm and 12.30 tonight. As you were. (This should be on The Corner, which is where I said I'd post news items, but I bet you never check it.)

No you're right, never do. Anyway apart from congratulating you on the latest Apprentice review (can't you get the Guardian or someone to print that - they should), what I wondered is, are you going to replace your various profile pictures with some of the shots by the excellent photographer you have got to know? The blog one could be Liotta from yesterday, but that might not sit so well with the Guardian blog readers who might like less testosterone. Anyway just a thought. And I have saved "Coffin Faced Bastard" in the OP memory bank ready for the right opportunity.
Best wishes, Gary
I check it but you never seem to post anything there!
Hey, I never go there, neither does anyone else. The original plan was to put blatant plugs for things I'm on or doing on The Corner, and leave this blog for ruminations and reviews. But frankly, the C&H podcasts have muddied the waters somewhat, as this one has plugs on it all the time now. I'll accept the march of time soon and combine the two.
Andrew, I've been reading your blog for around a year now, and I'd just like to say... "There's a news section?!"
I've subscribed to The Corner's RSS feed! It's right underneath this one in my feed reader. But yeah, I'm geeky and most other people aren't.
I enjoyed your Guardian blog. Although the commenters seem quite touchy and trying to find fault where there isn't one. I'm from Northern Ireland so I'm qualified to make that comment! We are a hard to please lot.
Blimey, Andrew, that's - how can I put it politely - not a great photo of you on that header. Did you get any neutral looking photos done during your session the other day that you could swipe for such purposes?
As soon as our professional photos are done, I'm hoping to send one straight to the Guardian!
